Guidlines for posting in the Feed

No excessive rearing, bucking, broncing, napping. We like to laugh about the silly stuff, but if we think it crosses the line and indicates a pain issue we won’t approve it.

Nobody like to see that. Even if no-one got hurt, if seeing it makes your mum cringe, it makes us cringe too and won’t be approved.

Sometimes this shit gets serious and it’s no longer funny. We don’t like it and it very quickly escalates into a horrible macabre whose leg has fallen off in the worst possible scenario, scenario.

Funny as it is, we can’t be seen to encourage you youngsters to jump onto your crazy horses with no tack, so we won’t USUALLY approve the post. There may be the odd exception.

No footage from sales viewings, please get permission from your victims before you publish. Check your settings as sometimes we get posts that we can’t even see!

Please don’t try to advertise your horse or tack on the feed – this can be only be done through the Marketplace. Any sales posts will not be approved as the Feed is for fun content, not pushing your wares!

Usually, it’s a repeat post. Secondly, it’s too, well, normal. We try and keep the feed varied and fun – horses wrecking rugs, getting muddy, silly selfies etc. are all really lovely but we do get inundated. We let the occasional one through but that doesn’t mean we will let 100 muddy horses through. It’s not personal and we hope you understand.

We are really proud that we have created a safe space here to share inevitable mishaps and mistakes which are all part of horse ownership / victimhood. It only works if we have a supportive network, otherwise no-one will share. Please, be nice to one another, don’t pile onto the inevitable trolls, just report them to us and we will happily give them the boot.
